COMMON NAME (S): Beautiful Tiger, Tiger Moth. SYNONYM(S): Euchelia pardalina Herrich-Schäffer, 1854 . IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Monze, in Southern Province; Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Chisamba and Kabwe, in Central Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include a yet to be identified Fabaceae species (i.e. Crotalaria sp. ) ( Pinhey 1975). The African

Moths (2019) webpage reports that Pinus patula Schltdl. & Cham. (Pinaceae) , Crotalaria capensis Jacq.

(Fabaceae), Widdringtonia nodiflora (L.) Powrie ( Cupressaceae ) and Sphenostylis angustifolia Sond.
