Stems 7-30 cm. Basal leaves few; cauline 3-6. Capitula 1-7; involucral bracts 9-12 mm, with long, usually greyish eglandular hairs. Ligules 13-18 mm. Rocky and sandy ground by rivers and the sea. Arctic Russia and Finland.
