Conicera schnittmanni Schmitz.1926b: 126 View in CoL (♂, Switzerland: Freiburg).
Description. Male. Body length 1.20–1.22 mm. Frons dark brown. Supra-antennal setae present. Lower interfrontal setae as long as upper interfrontal setae, and the distance between each other equaled to that between upper interfrontal setae. Lower fronto-orbital setae very short, 1/3 length of upper fronto-orbital setae. First flagellomere dark brown, 0.17 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 1.81:1; arista 0.35 mm long, 2.1 times length of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, with 7 short setae apically.
Thorax dark brown. Mid and hind legs brown, fore leg yellowish brown. Fore tibia with 8 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing ( Fig. 30C View FIGURES 30 ) length 1.16 mm. Costal index 0.37, costal ratio 2.25:1, costal setulae length 0.070 –0.080 mm. Rs with basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray.Membrane hyaline. Halter dark brown.
Abdominal tergites brown. Terminalia ( Fig. 22D View FIGURES 22 ) brown. Left surstylus ( Figs. 22E, I View FIGURES 22 ) with 4 pointed teeth on dorsal edge and with a basidorsal process. Right surstylus ( Figs. 22F, J View FIGURES 22 ) with 7 pointed inner teeth on dorsal edge, of which the downmost pointed and slender. and with a basidorsal process.

Distribution. China (Heilongjiang, Liaoning), Russia.
Remarks. This species is recorded for the first time from China. It is similar to C. obtusidentis sp. nov., but it can be distinguished from the latter in having pointed inner teeth of surstyli and the lowermost thinner tooth of right surstylus.
