FEMALE (Specimens measured – Angola: 1, Malawi: 5, South Africa 21).

Dorsum – Dorsal shield imbricated laterally,328­359 long and 231­254 wide. Setae j1 37­39, j3 32­38, j4 12, j5 12, j6 15, J2 15, J5 8, z2 31, z4 32­35, z5 12, Z1 18­20, Z4 17­20, Z5 76­85, s4 54 ­55, S2 31, S4 25­28, S5 32­35, r3 18­20, R1 15­17. All dorsal setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrated.

Peritreme – Reaching level of setae j3.

Venter – All ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1­ST3 54­58, ST2­ST2 66­ 67, ST5­ST5 76­79. A single pair of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 106­116 long, 47­50 wide at ZV2 level and 76 at anus level.

Chelicera – Movable digit 25 long, with 5 teeth; fixed digit 25­28 long, with 1 tooth.

Spermatheca – Calyx tubular, 13­16 long; atrium between broad calyx and broad major duct.

Legs – Macrosetae knobbed: SgeII 28, SgeIII 35­39, SgeIV 57, StiIII 26­31, StiIV 34­ 39, StIV 62­69. One specimen even bears a knobbed macrosetae on genu I; chaetotaxy of genu II 2­2/0, 2/0­1; genu III 1­2/1,2/0­1.

MALE (Specimens measured – South Africa: 6).

Dorsum – Dorsal shield 253­277 long. Setae j1 26­31, j3 31­37, j4 15, j5 15, j6 15­20, J2 15­20, J5 8, z2 26­31, z4 31­37, z5 15, Z1 18­23, Z4 18­23, Z5 53­62, s4 42­46, S2 26­ 31, S4 26­31, S5 31­37, r3 15­20, R1 15.

Peritreme – Extending to a level between setae z2 and z4.

Venter – Ventrianal shield 102­117 long and 131­171 wide at anterior corners.

Chelicera – Shaft of spermatodactyl 28 long. It is truncated distally, bulged subapically with a hook on one side.
