Remarks. Described from the holotype from: Punjab, Chamba, Sarol Garden, 20.v.27, S.L. Hora and paratype: Calcutta, Maidan, 10.iv.34, H.S. Pruthi (ZSI). From Pruthi’s description this species can be distinguished by its dark appearance with a pale hind margin of the forewing.
