Type: — CHINA. Yunnan: Heqing, Mt. Maer , 3500 m, J.M.Delavay 3911 (lectotype: P00834660 !, designated by Pimenov 2017; isolectotypes: A00062642!, GH00062643!, K000697367!, K000980124!, NY00406294!, P00245415 !, P 04142109!) .
Notes: — Chamaesium delavayi usually possess branching stems, obsolete bracts and bracteoles, overlapping and nearly round segments of leaves, yellow-green not white petals and fruits with slightly concave endosperm face and plane exocarp face. C. delavayi is similar to C. spatuliferum in shape of basal leaves, but differs in the latter have developed bracts and bracteoles ( Guo et al. 2017a).
Distribution in China: — Yunnan. Endemic. ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 )
Habitat: — Chamaesium delavayi usually grows on 3800–3900 m alpine meadow.
