Remarks: Described from an unknown number of specimens from Guatemala; Panamá- Bugaba (3500 feet), Boquete (3500 feet), and Volcán de Chiriquí (2500 to 4000 feet) (Champion). Baly (1885) originally listed the species as U. rodrigezi Chapuis , but mentioned that it may not be conspecific and suggested U. clarkella as its name if it was determined to be a different species. Weise (1911a) elevated Pentispa to full generic status.
