* Cerithium penetrabile n. sp. — Kolesnikov 1935: 231, pl. 28, figs 16–17.
Type material. Lectotype designated herein: Nr 325/11126 (2871/323), illustrated in Kolesnikov (1935: pl. 28, fig. 16). TSNIGR Museum Saint-Petersburg ( Romanovskaya et al. 1979).
Type locality. Letychiv ( Ukraine) .
Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).
Discussion. This species is a subjective junior synonym of Terebralia menestrieri (d’Orbigny, 1844) .
Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Letychiv (Khmel'nytskyi Region, Ukraine) ( Kolesnikov 1935).
