Type data

This species was proposed based on an undetermined number of specimens of both sexes collected in Mendoza and Buenos Aires. Two males and one female belonging to the type series were examined, the latter being here designated as lectotype. The chosen specimen has the following data label: [red-rimmed white yellowish label] 224 [handwritten]\ [light green label] Buen. Ayres. [printed]\ [black-rimmed white yellowish label] nigriventris Burm. Rep. Arg. [handwritten]\ [blackrimmed pink label] Centris [handwritten] ALLOTYPUS [printed] nigriventris Burm. [handwritten] ( MACN).
