Distribution. Southwestern China (Tibet, Yunnan); northern Myanmar (Kachin); northwestern Thailand (Chiang Mai); northern Vietnam (Lao Cai, Lai Chau) ( Didier 1928; Nagai 2002; Fujita 2010; Huang & Chen 2017).
Biological notes. Adults of this species are usually found in decaying wood, but we observed the adults mating on standing decaying wood while the female biting the bark in broad-leaved forests of Gaoligongshan, Yunnan at an altitude of 1800 m at night in August ( Fig. 15 View FIGURE 15 ).
