73. Campylodiscus biangulatus Greville ( Fig. 164 View FIGURES 157–164 )

Type locality: Ceylon .

References: Schmidt et al. 1874–1959, pl. 14, fig. 18; Williams 1988, p. 21, pl. 26, figs 3, 4, Stidolph et al. 2012, pl. 47, figs 1, 6.

Morphometrics: Valves 85 (80–120) μm long, 81 (79–108) μm wide, ribs 1.4 in 10 μm.

Remarks: Campylodiscus biangulatus was reported from Celebes of Indonesia and Yokohama of Japan (Schmidt et al. 1874–1959), Samoa (Schmidt et al. 1874–1959; Stidolph et al. 2012), Tahiti ( Ricard 1977) and Hainan and Fujian of China ( Jin et al. 1985). It is reported from a few localitions in warmer oceans. In South Korea, this taxon is very rarely epiphytic on the seaweeds of Seogwipo coast in Jeju Island, and thus represents a new record for Korea.
