Reported for Nosy Be by Ramanantsoa (1974) as follows: ‘ Il a été récolté dans la Montagne d’Ambre et Nosy Be, à la lisière de la forêt. ’ This record was mentioned by Brygoo (1978) without providing more details. However, the species was not found by any other survey on Nosy Be although it is comparatively easy to survey. In addition, apparently no voucher specimens are known to support this record. We therefore consider this record as dubious.
