This genus has only one species, C. eremophila Krall, Shagalina & Ivanova, 1988 , which has only one record from a shrub plant ( Calligonum arborescens Litv. , Polygonaceae ) in the Kara Kum desert of Turkmenistan ( Krall et al. 1988).
