COMMON NAME (S): White Chain or or Erebine Moth.
SYNONYM(S): Asymbata roseiventris Gerstäcker, 1871 ; Calesia sambesita Hampson, 1902 a .
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia , Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Type locality is Zambesi [now Zambezi] River (But not clear from the record in the literature, which part of Zambia). LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include two Acanthaceae species namely Dyschoriste thunbergiiflora Lindau and
