Description. See Cushman (1924, p. 44, pl. 14, figs 4–7).

Distribution within study area. This species was only collected from Heron and One Tree Island Reefs with no more than six specimens per site (ST/HW 4). Calcarina mayori Cushman 1924 was most commonly collected from reef flat settings.
