Range. This species has been reported from seven counties in Virginia ( Holsinger & Culver 1988; Lewis 2009). Similar to C. pricei , this species has dispersed from the Appalachians into the Piedmont. The relatively wide range of this species is probably related to its ability to disperse through non-cave groundwaters.
