Diagnosis. Sexually dimorphic in coloration, male without black round spots on fore margin of head that are present in female, basal triangles on mesonotum in both sexes dark brown, male with additional pair of round spots, one on either side of median line anterad of scutoscutellar suture. Face with brownish patches in both the sexes. Male pygofer with ventral process not reaching distal margin, subgenital plates shorter than pygofer in lateral view. Other features as in generic diagnosis.
Remarks. Viraktamath (2007) adequately described and figured this species including male genitalia and the female sternite VII.
