Type locality. Iran: N. Kharadzi. Holotype: female (ZIN).

Material examined. IRAN: N. Kharadzi, Arabistan , 13.4.1904, 1♀ (Holotype) (leg. Zarudny); W . Iran, Abedak , 12.5.1962, 1♂, 1♀ (leg. et det. Shumakov) ( ZIN) ; Nr. Kerman, 5.1951, 1♀ ; Persia, between Hamadan and Quazvin , 1♂, 1♀ (leg. R. C. Rainey & E. H. Shumakov) ( NHMUK) ; Persien, 1♀ (leg. Heller) (det. Br. v.W. as Nocarodes serricollis ) ( NMW) ; N. Persien, 1♀ (leg. Dr. Poleak) (det. Br. v.W. as Nocarodes serricollis ) ( NMW) .

Description of male: Body ( Fig. 826 View FIGURES 824 – 838 ) stout, depressed dorso-ventrally. Fastigium of vertex broad, depressed and sloping. Vertex broad; median carina long and grooved; supraocular foveola closed type. Antennae with 12 segments. Pronotum ( Fig. 826 View FIGURES 824 – 838 ) very broad, strongly depressed between median and lateral carinae; the swelling of lateral carinae distinct in metazona, this swelling lying down diagonally towards anterior margin of pronotum, in prozona lateral carinae indistinct; median carina distinctly raised without longitudinal sulcus; clearly convex in lateral view. Hind femur ( Fig. 826 View FIGURES 824 – 838 ) 2.6 times longer than its height, dorsal margin almost straight in proximal part, with a deep and wide preapical notch, ventral margin convex and smooth in proximal part, undulate distally; dorsal surface of genicular lobes with a low carina with blunt denticles. Abdominal tergites ( Fig. 826 View FIGURES 824 – 838 ) simple, with slightly raised median carina, not protruded backwards. Arolium very narrow and small. Tympanum absent. Arch of zygoma narrow, triangular, slightly raised apically; posterior lobes of zygoma short and wide; apical valves of penis as in the genus, stout, S-shaped and with an apical notch; tumida of zygoma narrow and elongated; apodemes narrow, without apical notch; basal valves of penis narrow, as long as apodemes; pseudolophi separated, rounded, with 13–15 spines.

Coloration. Body unicolor greyish milky brown. Ventral half of head, between median and lateral carinae of pronotum in metazona, fore and mid legs lighter. Antennae greyish. Typical light bands on paranota absent. Typical light band on abdomen weak. Inner surface of hind femur black, dorsal margin body color with red tinge. Inner surface of hind tibia black.

Distribution. W. Iran: Kharadzi, Hamadan, Qazvin, Kerman, Abedak.

Remarks. The male was unknown. I have no specimens before me, but its description has been made from the photographs of the male from Abedak taken by me.
