8. Bothropolys lutulentus Verhoeff, 1930 View in CoL
Type locality: [ Uzbekistan, Tashkent Region] Löss bei Taschkent [loess near Tashkent—Uz1a] ( Verhoeff 1930) .
Bothropolys (Probothropolys) lutulentus Verhoeff, 1930: 250 View in CoL (2 ♀♀).
Bothropolys (Probothropolys) lutulentus View in CoL — Zalesskaja, 1978: 32; Dobroruka, 1979: 163 (1 ♂).
Previous records. Uzbekistan: Tashkent Region—vicinity of Tashkent [Uz1a], Aktasch Village near Tashkent [Uz2] ( Verhoeff 1930; Zalesskaja 1978; Dobroruka 1979).
Habitat records. Loess ( Verhoeff 1930).
Remarks. Verhoeff (1930) suggested B. lutulentus could be identical to B. desertorum . Dobroruka (1979) studied the sole male specimen from “Aktasch, Taschkent”.Aktash is a city in the Samarqand Region of Uzbekistan, but Dobroruka probably mentioned Aktash Village in the Bostanlyk District nearby Tashkent. This idea follows Mikátová et al. (2020) (cf. type locality of Philonthus krali Hromádka, 1987 visited by the same collector in the same day: USSR Uzbekistan / Aktaš 1100–1300m / Taškent env. / 4.VII.1976 / Josef Král lgt.).
Known from Uzbekistan, Tashkent Region, only.
