Type locality. Peru, Ticlio, 4800 m

Examined material. HT ♂ (CSt at MSNM); 11 PTT ♂ and 14 PTT ♀ (CSt, CMa); 56 ♂ and 24 ♀ (CAl, CGi, CMa); 2 ♂ included in the TS of B. unistria .

Note. This species is easily distinguished by the apical blade of aedeagus slightly bent to the left in dorsal view.

Distribution. This species is recorded from the area of Ticlio and Abra Anticona (Dept. Lima).

Habitat. The altitude data reported on the labels (about 4,800 m a.s.l.) suggest a preference of this species for the high Andean grasslands.
