Remarks. Possibilities of type material examination of Syringophilus seiuri described by Clark (1964) and deposited in the FMNH, allows us to move this species to the genus Betasyringophiloidus (one pair of pseudanal setae present). Because, all morphological characters and setae measurements of Syringophiloidus zonotrichia Bochkov et al., 2011 perfectly correspond with Betasyringophiloidus seiuri we consider S. zonotrichia as a junior synonym of B. seiuri .
