Material examined. Paratypes: 2 3, 1 Ƥ, all bear the following labels: ‘Waze (3,410 m) / Kangding Xian / Sichuan Prov. // [SE-CHINA] / China: Sichuan, Kangding, Waze (in Chinese) // 27.ix.1996, S. Nomura // PARA- TYPE / Batrisiella satoi / Nomura, 2003 ’
Remarks. This species is closely allied to B. auritus as stated above. The larger body size, the presence of a filament structure in the excavation of tergite IV, the simple metafemora and the forms of the male and female genitalia of this species easily distinguishes it from B. auritus .
Distribution. Southwest China (Sichuan).
