Material examined. Holotype ♂: PAN[AMA], C[anal] Z[one], Corazal, III.[19]12, Aug. Busck col. ( USNM, # 64998 ).

Diagnosis. MALE ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 73 – 84. 73 – 76 ). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 73 – 84. 73 – 76 ). Clypeus with subangulate median lobe. Antennal scrobe weakly carinate. Frons coriaceous. Vertex slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina straight and thick; median carina absent; lateral carina thick anteriorly, but absent posteriorly; posterior margin paralleled by series of punctures. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with upper fovea rounded. Genitalia ( Figs 75, 76 View FIGURES 73 – 84. 73 – 76 ) paramere with rounded apex, dorsal and ventral margins almost straight; cuspis divided into two arms, longer than half of paramere length, dorsal arm shorter and wider than ventral arm; aedeagus wide, bottle-shaped, apex not aligned with cuspis apex, ventral surface with conspicuous projection ventrad, basal margin angulate; apodeme with base very dilated.

FEMALE [not examined]. Black. Mandible with five apical teeth. Clypeus with angulate median lobe. Antennal scrobe weakly carinate. Frons coriaceous. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina straight and thick; median carina absent; lateral carina thick anteriorly, but absent posteriorly. Scutellar pit ovoid.

Distribution. Mexico (San Luis Potosí, Tabasco), Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela.
