Note. Subías (2022) recognized E. foveolatus as a subspecies of E. cribrarius ( Berlese, 1904) . However, E. cribrarius is distinctly different from E. foveolatus by setae c 1 located posteriorly of setae c 2 (versus slightly anteriorly in E. foveolatus ), setae c 3 considerably shorter than setae c 1 and c 2 (versus all similar in length) and the aggenital setae ag 2 longer than ag 1 (versus subequal in length).
