Atoposmia (Atoposmia) pycnognatha (Michener, 1943) View in CoL **

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Oak Creek Canyon, near Independence, Inyo Co., California, USA; June 11, 1937] Atoposmia pycnognatha represents a new species record for Mexico. The BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in April 2022 (4 ♂, 1 ♀), and Chaparral (15 ♂), and Baja California Mountains in May 2022 (4 ♂, 2 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 245 .
