Treatment

Material examined. MNHN 2002.0434 (male; SVL 250 mm, TaL 57 mm), vicinity of Lubuksao, Sumatera Barat Province, elev. 400 m.

Taxonomic comments. This specimen is typical for the species.

Scalation: specimens MNHN 2002.0434: DSR 15-15-13; VEN 159; SC 46.

Distribution on Sumatra. Provinces of Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Riau, Bengkulu, and Sumatera Selatan; also the island of Bangka and Mentawai Archipelago ( David & Vogel, 1996).

Biology. This specimen was collected at night around 1930 hours during a rain shower in November, in a rocky primary rainforest near a stream.
