Aspicolpus sibiricus ( Fahringer, 1934)
Distribution in Iran. Golestan ( Ghahari et al. 2010a), Tehran ( Hedwig 1957 as Helcon borealis ), Iran (no specific locality) ( Fallahzadeh and Saghaei 2010 as Aspicolpus borealis ).
Distribution outside Iran. Hungary, Russia ( Yu et al. 2012), Sweden, Eastern Siberia ( Szépligeti 1904 as Aspidocolpus borealis ; Hedqvist 1967 as Aspidocolpus borealis ; Yu et al. 2012 as Aspicolpus borealis ). Host records. Chlorophorus herbsti (Brahm) ( Coleoptera : Cerambycidae ) ( Hedqvist 1967). Notes by van Achterberg. Aspicolpus sibiricus ( Fahringer, 1934) is the valid name for this taxon because Aspicolpus borealis (Thomson, 1892) is a junior homonym of A. borealis (Cresson, 1873) and thus unavailable (van Achterberg 2014).
