Ascirtothrips taghizadehi zur Strassen 1975: 274.
This species was described fron Iran but is also known from Spain (zur Strassen 2003) and now from Saudi Arabia. The secies is unique among other Eremiothrips species by the male having sharply recurved paired processes on tergite IX, and sternites IV–VII with oval but transverse pore plates.
Material studied. Al jouf, Sakaka, two males from Tamarix sp. 18. viii.2022, ( BT) ; Tabuk, one male from Suaeda sp. ( BT); Raheeb , three males from Suaeda sp. 27.ix.2022.
