Material examined. CHINA: Sichuan Prov.: ɗ, Luding County, Hailuogou, alt. 3000–3100 m, 22.VII.2006, HU Jia-Yao & TANG Liang leg.
Male sexual characters. Aedeagus ( Figs. 7, 8 View FIGURES 4 – 9 ) 1.95 mm long. Median lobe in ventral view slightly wider apically. Internal sac with two groups of symmetrical sclerites, basal and apical ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 4 – 9 ).
Remarks. This species was original described from Sichuan by Löbl (1999), based on two females. A male of this species has never been described before. Our male specimen comes from the type locality of S. alticola , and matches the original description by Löbl (1999). In the male specimen listed above each elytron is with an additional outer discal puncture row consisting of one (left elytron) or two (right elytron) punctures and situated on even surface.
