Like 27 but leaves 10-25(-60) x 0-7-1 -5(-2) mm, linear, muticous; scapes 2-9(-15)cm, arcuate or flexuous; sheath 5-8 mm; capitula 10-15(-18) mm wide; outer involucral bracts ovate, obtuse, muticous or sometimes mucronulate; inner obtuse or emarginate; spikelets more shortly stipitate; calyx 5-6 mm; awns 0-3-0-5 mm; corolla usually pink. 2« =18. Mountain pastures and rock-crevices. • Corse. Co.
27 and 28 are recorded from many of the same localities and intermediates occur.
