Description. Adult ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 60 – 67 ) wingspan 10.5̄11.0 mm. Head white, face golden yellow. Labial palpus yellow, mixed with fuscous laterally. Antenna with scape white, pecten pale yellowish fuscous; flagellum white, ringed with black. Foreleg blackish fuscous on inner surface, tibia dotted with black near base, at middle, and distolaterally, each tarsomere black distally on outer surface, remainder yellowish white; midleg mostly yellowish white, tibia dotted with black near base, at middle, and at distal on dorsal surface, first tarsomere dotted with black at middle and at apex on dorsal surface, other tarsomeres black at apex dorsally; hindleg yellowish fuscous mixed with gray, except each tarsomere blackish gray distally. Thorax white, golden brown laterally; tegula golden brown. Forewing ratio 4.0; yellowish brown, with deep yellowish brown striae and dots; costa with ten dark fuscous transverse striae on basal 2/3; dorsum white at base, dorsal streak deep yellowish brown, from before middle of wing to distal 1/3 of costa, not conspicuously distinguishable from ground color; cilia brown, darker at base and distally, dark gray near tornus. Hindwing and cilia uniformly gray. Abdomen grayish fuscous dorsally, dark yellowish fuscous ventrally.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 128 View FIGURES 126 – 131 , 184, 240 View FIGURES 233 – 244 ): Tuba analis slightly shorter than width of valva. Socius covered with 19̄25 scale-like setae, bearing a single seta posteriorly ( Fig. 240 View FIGURES 233 – 244 ). Gnathos not inflated distally, without long thick setae apically. Valva more or less ovate, widest at basal 1/3, dorsal margin slightly arched at basal 2/5, straight in distal 3/5; row of long thick setae from disc near ventral margin to distal area, with setae near apex of ventral margin shorter and sparser. Saccus shorter than width of valva, triangular, blunt apically. Phallus nearly straight, 3.4 times as long as width of valva ( Fig. 183). Second sternite with about eight micro-setae in each row; eighth sternite Y-shaped. Coremata present.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 286 View FIGURES 286 – 289 ): Ovipositor 2.8 times as long as eighth segment. Anterior apophysis 4/5 length of posterior apophysis, bifurcate before middle, with branches reaching near middle, not joined. Lamella postvaginalis subrectangular. Antrum funnel-shaped, 3/7 length of eighth segment. Ductus bursae spinulate near and before opening of ductus seminalis and near corpus bursae; ductus seminalis originating from anterior 2/5 of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae round, densely denticulated, sparser anteriorly; signum with basal plate band-shaped, slightly widened medially, horns long and slender, extending obliquely outward, C-shaped.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guizhou).

Diagnosis. The diagnosis is given under A. (A.) umbrina , sp. nov.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin umbrinus, meaning brown, and strigatus, meaning streak, referring to the yellowish brown forewing with a deep yellowish brown dorsal streak before middle of the wing.
