NOTES: Although this species was described by Torrend (1908), and he mentions that the material was “Sur des aiguilles de Pinus pinaster, Pinhal d’El-Rei ( Portugal)”, there is little doubt that it was G.Lister who studied it. Torrend (1909: s.n. [271] Errata) himself corrected the authorship of the species to G. Lister & Torrend. In notebook XXVIII: 49–50 are the notes and illustrations that G.Lister made of specimen C.T. 112 sent by Camile Torrend for her to examine. The notebook data are the same as the label of the BM specimen, so it is the original material of the species. Some of the illustrations (capillitium and ornamentation of the peridium) in the notebook are used for plate 185.d in the Lister monograph (1911, 1925). A slide of the BM 3054 was made.
