Diagnosis. Arctigalloisiana yubariensis sp. nov. is very similar to A. poropnetopa sp. nov., but distinguishable from the latter by a relatively short third antennomere ( Fig. 8E View Fig ; see Keys to species).

Type material. Holotype female (B2-407748, MNHAH), near Ukuru river (elev. 90m), Niwan Pass, Atsuma Town , Mt. Yubari , Hokkaido, 25- X-2012. M. Komazawa leg. Paratypes: 6 females (B2-407749, B2- 407750, B2-407751, B2-407752, B2-407753, B2-407754, MNHAH) and 1 larva (B2-407755, MNHAH), same data as in the holotype . 1 male (B2-446670, MNHAH), Yubari city, Mt. Yubari , Hokkaido, 18-XI-2013. M. Komazawa leg.

Measurements (Female/Male). Head length 2.75–3.05/2.60; width 3.10–3.25/3.00. Eye length 0.42–0.50/0.45; width 0.20–0.35/ 0.22. Interorbital distance 2.66–2.93/2.60. Antennomere length I, 0.46–0.51/0.51; II, 0.22–0.27/0.23; III, 0.31–0.37/0.28. Pronotum length 3.00–3.10/3.10; width 2.36–2.83/2.86.

Female ( Figs. 3D View Fig , 8A–G View Fig ). Antennomere number on right antennae 29–33 and on left antennae 31–34; third antennomere longer than second one, Ant3L/Ant2L less than 1.50. Compound eyes well-developed, black. Interocular distance almost as long as pronotum width. Head shorter than wide. Pronotum longer than wide, square-shaped with convex posterior edge; transverse sulcus at anterior margin convex. Ventral valve 1.2 to 1.3 times longer than pronotum, almost straight. Dorsal valve slender, around 1.3 to 1.5 times longer than pronotum, and almost straight with distal part slightly curved downward.

Male ( Figs. 9A–E View Fig , 10 A – D View Fig ). Almost same as in females except for genital organs. Antennomere number on right antennae 34 and on left antennae 30. Subgenital plate strongly tapering posteriorly. Right coxopodite with narrow part apically, which is longer than that of left coxopodite; inner margin of right coxopodite undulate twice; dorsal margin of right coxopodite bearing flatten projection, which is usually hidden between copulatory sclerite and subgenital plate. Left coxopodite apically with short narrow part; vent-lateral margin sloping without undulation. Right phallomere weakly sclerotized in entire right surface. Left phallomere mainly membrane, with belt-shaped sclerotized zone running dorsoventrally. Principal copulatory process wellsclerotized, apically with two wing-like projections, which are extending toward right side; ventral one of two projections less developed compared with that of A. yezoensis ( Fig. 10A and B View Fig vs. Fig. 6A and B View Fig ).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from a city name, Yubari City, which includes the locality type.
