Body yellowish. Head with two brown semilunar patches transferring from crown to face. Eyes blackish. Scutellum brown with basal triangles blackish-brown. Fore wing brown.

Male genitalia: Pygofer with about 4 macrosetae at cephalo-ventral angle of lobe ( Fig. 22a View FIGURE 22 ); apex of dorsal appendage bifurcated, with the upper tooth longer than the lower one ( Fig. 22b View FIGURE 22 ). Style with apical tooth obviously shorter than subapical tooth ( Fig. 22c View FIGURE 22 ). Aedeagal shaft with apical processes thin and short, ventral margin with 3 different sized processes; preatrial process long, nearly reaching gonopore, base broad and tapering to apex; gonopore subapical ( Figs 22e, f View FIGURE 22 ).

Measurement: Male 3.15mm.

Material examined: Holotype: ♂ [ NWAFU], CHINA: Sichuan Prov., Huding County, Moxi Town , 5.xi.1999, light trap, coll. I. Dworakowska.

Remarks: This new species can be distinguished from other species in this genus by the 3 additional processes of aedeagal shaft on ventral margin.

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Latin prefix “ tri- ” and Latin word “ processus ”, referring to the additional 3 processes of aedeagal shaft.
