Material: 1 female ( CSRN), Novosibirsk Oblast, Toguchinskii District, S of Mokrushino, Koltyrak river floodplain, 54°44'21.1"N 84°51'42.9"E, Crataegus sanguinea , 14. V.2022, S. V. Reshetnikov; 1 ex. ( ISEA), Krasnoyarsk Krai, Malyi Kebezh river, Pinus sibirica forest, Sorbus , 26.VII.2017, E. V. Borisova.
Distribution. Europe ( Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2023), Western Siberia (Novosibirsk Oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai), Eastern Siberia (Irkutsk Oblast, Republic of Buryatia, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) ( Korotyaev & Sofronova 2020), Russian Far East (Magadan Oblast) ( Korotyaev & Sofronova 2020), Mongolia (Tuv Aimag, Selenge Aimag) ( Korotyaev & Sofronova 2020), China (Fujian) ( Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2023).
Host plants. On Crataegus ( Rosaceae ) ( Dieckmann 1968), Padus ( Korotyaev & Sofronova 2020) and Sorbus ( Rosaceae ) ( Isaev 2007).
Remarks. This is the first record of Anthonomus sorbi for Western Siberia.
