Anthaxia (Merocratus) insulaecola Obenberger, 1944 species-group

Body larger (6.5–11.0 mm), dorsal surface brightly bicolorous (violet and blue-green), frons moderately to deeply depressed, antennae of male very long reaching or weakly overlapping posterior pronotal angles when laid alongside; aedeagus long, subparallel or spindle-shaped, parameres without preapical, lateral spines.
