Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 1.9–3.1 mm. Black, except mandible testaceous, antenna and legs brown. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:5:10:11.5:11.5:11.5:10:10:9:9. Head shiny, smooth, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures (in specimen from Madagascar, 25°00.40’S 46°18.20’E, head unsculptured except vertex and temple granulate); frontal line absent; frons without lateral keels, with slight median longitudinal furrow; occipital carina complete; POL = 7; OL = 4; OOL = 6; OPL = 3; TL = 5. Mesoscutum shiny, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metapectal-propodeal disc completely reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands or spots; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:9). Paramere (Fig. 43B) without distal inner process and proximal membranous process. In specimen from South Africa, Kogelberg Forest Reserve, paramere with small basal area sculptured with mosaic pattern (Fig. 43C). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
