Remarks. This species was described based on three males from Brazil (Mato Grosso). According to Galileo & Martins (2002), the holotype and one paratype are from the following geographical coordinates: 12°21’S 51°46’W. These correspond to Santa Helena, a farm in Bom Jesus do Araguaia. Currently, it is known from Brazil (Mato Grosso), French Guiana, and Bolivia (Santa Cruz) ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023).
Material examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso do Sul (new state record): Campo Grande , CNPGC [Centro Nacional de Pesquisas de Gado de Corte—EMBRAPA], 1 female (MNRJ-ENT-47646), 25.X.1976, W.W. Koller leg. ( MNRJ) .
