Original data: “ RÉGION DU MONT NIMBA: Pierré-Richaud (M. L., II-VI-1942); Nimba (M. L., 1946); Bakoré, savane à Andropogon, 500 m (M. L., 25-IX-1946); Kéoulenta, 500 m, savane à Andropogon (M. L., 1-IX-1946). Holotype ♂ et allotype ♀ au Muséum de Paris. Pierré-Richaud , 900 m (M. L., II-VI-1942, larve)” ( Villiers 1963b: 511–512) .

Type: Allotype ♀: “ ALLOTYPE ” // “F?” // “Nimba Lamotte 1946” // “ Androclus guineensis n. sp. A Villiers det 1961” [hw Villiers] ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ).

Type locality: Mont Nimba : [Mont] Pierré Richaud [ Guinea] .

Current status: Valid species.

Remarks: We only found the allotype, the holotype is on loan.
