Wings about covering abdomen ( Fig. 35A View FIGURE 35 ). Tegmen: Radius with two branches, both forked near tip; media anterior free from base; forked behind basal third into two veins: MA and MP; cubitus anterior and cubitus posterior both single branched, free throughout; with 3–4 anal veins.
Coloration. General color uniformly brown. Face uniformly brown. Tegmen semitransparent yellow; veins yellow, darker towards base; hind wing semitransparent with darker venation.

Female. Seventh abdominal sternite wider than long, before tip with a small pit on stiffened surface. Subgenital plate apical margin with three recurved (= preparation artifact) triangular lobes, the lateral two larger than the central one. Base of ovipositor ventral valves with strongly stiffened margins. Ovipositor long, moderately upcurved throughout; tip acute ( Fig. 35B View FIGURE 35 ).
Measurements from Karny (1930a) (1 female).—body w/o wings: 16; pronotum: 4.2; tegmen: 12.5; tegmen width: 5; hind femur: 11.5; ovipositor: 9.5 mm.
Discussion. The general habitus of this and other species of the genus Anancistrogera is nearly identical to that of species described under Aphanogryllacris .
