Diagnosis. Hind tibia distinctly expanded on subapical part of dorsal surface ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ); aedeagus bifurcated on basal 1/2, submedially slightly curved dorsad, separated from parameres in lateral view (Figs 11, 12).
Description. Male terminalia: Epandrium small, constricted more than 1/2 width mid-dorsally, with ca. 17 setae near posterior to ventral margins on each side (Fig. 8). Surstylus distally with numerous setae on outer surface and ca. 7 prensisetae (Fig. 9). Vertical lobe of gonopod apically round, without any processes. Parameres fused on basal 3/4, slightly sclerotized, as long as aedeagus, with ca. 9 sensilla subbasally (Figs 11, 12).

Measurements. BL = 2.45 mm in holotype (range in 7 ɗɗ paratypes, 2.16–2.68 mm); ThL = 1.28 mm (1.10–1.38 mm); WL= 2.68 mm (2.20–2.68 mm); WW = 0.90 mm (0.84–1.02 mm). Indices: arb = 5/2, avd = 1.11 (1.10–1.11), adf = 2.00 (1.83–2.20), flw = 1.80 (1.67–1.80), FW/HW = 0.40 (0.38–0.41), ch/o = 0.07 (0.07), prorb = 1.10 (0.86–1.33), rcorb = 0.77 (0.77–0.88), vb = damaged (0.57–0.67), dcl = damaged (0.43–0.52), presctl = damaged (0.45–0.52), sctl = damaged (1.18–1.25), sterno = 0.79 (0.78–0.83), orbito = 2.25, dcp = 0.22 (0.22–0.24), sctlp = 1.10 (1.10–1.13), C = 1.47 (1.41–1.53), 4c = 1.64 (1.50–1.67), 4v = 2.50 (2.40–2.74), 5x = 1.50 (1.40–1.76), ac = 5.33 (4.71–5.83), M = 0.68 (0.64–0.86), C3F = 0.84 (0.79–0.86).
Type materials. Holotype ɗ ( SCAU, No. 120454), labelled “ CHINA: Jianfeng, Ledong, Hainan, 19.v.2004, ex tree trunk, HW Chen”. Paratypes: 2ɗɗ ( SCAU, Nos 120455, 56), same data as the holotype except 16.v.2005; 9ɗɗ (4ɗɗ, KIZ; 5ɗɗ, SCAU, Nos 120457 -61), China: Menglun, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, 17–20.iv.2007, ex tree trunk, HW Chen, JJ Gao, F Zhao.
Distribution. China (Hainan, Yunnan).
Etymology. From the Latin word: protuberantis , referring to the hindleg tibia expanded on subapical part of dorsoposterior surface.
