Amemboa (Amemboides) perlata Polhemus and Andersen 1984 View in CoL : Steenstrupia 100−103.
Diagnosis. Males of A. perlata can be distinguished from those of A. velaris by the genital segments shorter than the pregenital part of the abdomen ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 22 – 35 ), whereas A. velaris have the genital segments as long as or longer than the pregenital part of the abdomen ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 22 – 35 ).
Discussion. Amemboa perlata has been recorded from India, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam ( Polhemus & Andersen 1984, Zettel et al. 2007). In Thailand, this species has been collected from Phrae, Phetchabun, and Saraburi provinces ( Polhemus & Andersen 1984, Zettel & Chen 1997). In this study, this species was collected only from rock pools in Phitsanulok Province and it did not occur synoptically with any congeners where it was collected.
