Distribution in Brazil. Acre ( Nuvoloni et al., 2015b) and Amazonas ( Nuvoloni et al., 2015b).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. Also recently collected by P.R. Demite (unpublished data) in the state of Amazonas. A re-examination of the chelicera of type specimens showed that the correct number of teeth on the fixed digit should be about nine, instead of two, mentioned in the original description. In the newly collected specimens, the number was 10–12. Chant & McMurtry (2004a) cited only three species of this genus with less than less than six teeth on the fixed digit.
