Type material. Holotype: ♀: China, Xinjiang, Turfan , 40 m, 11.X.1993, de Rougemont ( MHNG).
Comments. The species should be assigned to the genus Amarochara Thomson, 1858 on the basis of diagnostic characters, especially the tarsal formula (555), the morphology of the antennae (long and massive, antennomere 1 dorsoapically distinctly emarginated) and the morphology of the spermatheca (capsule bulbous, duct short and straight).
