Synonyms: Cyaniris cochinchinensis bavayi Pic, 1932: 13 (orig.: Cyaniris cochinchinensis var. bavayi ; type locality: Tonkin); Kimoto and Gressitt, 1981: 298 (as synonym of Aetheomorpha malayana ); Medvedev, 1992a: 24 (as synonym of Aetheomorpha decemnotata ).

Remarks
Aetheomorpha decemnotata ( Jacoby, 1892) resembles A. furcata Medvedev and Kantner, 2002 in the dorsal colour pattern. But the former is more robust, the vertex is black, scutellum is relatively darker, and aedeagal apex is triangular. The spermathecal duct is very long and moderately coiled with a thicker base.
