Actinochaetopteryx patellipalpis Richter, 1986: 106 View in CoL . Type locality: Russia ( Southern Far East ).
Material examined. CHINA: 1♂, Jiagedaqi , 50°42ʹN, 124°4ʹE, 480–550m, Daxinganling Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, 22.VII.2013, CT Zhang ( SYNU) .
Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia), Russia (Southern Far East).
Diagnosis. Body length: 7.2 mm. Male. Head (fronto-orbital plate, parafacial and occiput) and thoracic pleura and postpronotal lobe covered with silvery white pruinosity. Eyes bare. Frons of male about 0.4 of head width or 1.34–1.5 times of eye width, with two proclinate outer orbital setae, one reclinate prevertical seta, ocellar seta fine. parafacial bare; gena about 1/4 of eye height, lower facial margin not visible in lateral view; antenna distinctly longer than genal height, antenna except distal half of postpedicel brown, palpi and prementum reddish yellow, arista plumose, prementum about 2 times as long as wide. Thorax with silver white pruinosity on scutum and pleura, without distinct dark longitudinal vittae. Postpronotal lobe, notopleuron, posterior half of scutellum and postalar callus brownish yellow; 0–3 presutural and 1–2 postsutural acrostichal setae, 2 presutural and 4–5 postsutural dorsocentral setae, 0 presutural and 3 postsutural intra–alar setae, 3–4 supra-alar setae, front one shorter, 5 postpronotal setae and the strongest three arranged in a straight line. 3 katepisternal setae. Wing with tegula and basicosta reddish yellow, costal spine indistinct, vein costal sectors 1st, 2nd 3rd setulae ventrally, vein R 1 bare dorsally, R 4+5 with a row of setulae dorsally from R 4+5 base to r-m, bend of M with a continuation at least as long as half of crossvein R-M. Legs yellow, tarsi dark, fore claws and pulvilli shorter than 5th tarsomere, mid tibia with 1 anterodorsal seta. Abdomen subcylindric, mostly reddish yellow, without paired dark spots on tergites, middorsal depression on syntergite 1+2 extending back to hind margin, mid-dorsal portion with a dark narrow longitudinal vitta extending to trapezoid on tergites 4 and 5, syntergite 1+2 without median marginal seta, tergite 3 with 2 median marginal setae, tergites 4 and 5 each with a row of marginal setae, tergites 3 to 5 without median discal seta.
