Type host. Rioraja castelnaui (Ribeiro) (Pisces: Rajidae ).

Site of infection. Spiral intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Mar del Plata (38º00ʹS, 57º33ʹW).

Holotype: MLP 4025. Paratype: MLP 4026.

Remarks. Paratypes (5) US National Parasite Collection; paratypes (2) deposited in the British Museum (Natural History) Collections of The Natural History Museum, London, UK.
