Indonesia records: Northern part of West Nusa Tenggara ( Bali Sea), between Bahuluang and Tambolongan, Selayar Islands (Flores Sea), Sebangkatan Island (Makassar Strait), north Sulawesi ( Sulawesi Sea), northern part of Seram Island, West Obi Island (Seram Sea), east Pagama Island, northeast Banda Island (Banda Arc) ( Hansen 1910) and Arafura Sea ( Colosi 1919) and southern part of Java Island (Indian Ocean) ( Pillai 1973). Depth range: Plankton net at the sea surface ( Hansen 1910).
