24. Pombalia oppositifolia View in CoL ( L.) Paula-Souza, comb. nov. ≡ Viola oppositifolia L. ( Linnaeus 1763: 1327).—Type: VENEZUELA. Nueva Esparta: Island of Margarita, El Valle, 7 June 1901, Miller & Johnston 124 (neotype US! designated by Dorr & Wiersema, 2010).
