Cochylis notulana View in CoL was described from several, mostly worn male specimens collected by Zeller on the 23 and 29 April by Siracusa in Sicily, Italy ( Zeller, 1847; 1854). Razowski (1970) selected a male lectotype and figured its genitalia. The latter fully agree with P. manniana View in CoL in every detail ( Figs 5A, 5 View FIGURES 5 A – 5 B B).
